YIKES!! These rats are still calling..same number from Bakersfield CA (or who knows where--probably off shore). Just got the same pitch (TODAY 1-9-2014) as the post below...same script plus poor English. The male voice said he was from Microsoft and told me my computer was infected. I asked him how he knew that and he gave me an IP address...(which was bogus) and they needed to clean up my PC immediately. Told him I was driving and needed to call him back...and asked for a phone number. He said to use the number that came up on the screen...I said I could not see if and to give it to me and I will write it down. That is when the caller hung up. Just a note...MICROSOFT would NEVER call me about an infected PC. I guess this is just another scam that continues to live...because people believe this could be a legitimate call.
Ms. Richardson, what youre asking is absurdly impossible. No one reading here can conjure a personal phone number from thin air or exercise your rights for you. Thats not what a mystery call site like this is for. Ending the calls from debt collectors is *your job*, and its not hard when the offending agency has an easily found Nevada address ready to receive your written notice by Certified Mail.
A very reliable online site like USpopularnames.com will let you experience visiting a dependable web-based community. In case you need verify a call using a reverse lookup directory, this website lets you complete the process. Likewise, you can post your comment and let other people read it.
