Doesnt work that way at all. They have to buy the list from the ftc, so why would they pay for something when all they have to do is plumb numbers into a dialer or computer and go for it..By State DNC lists: ... -rule#DNCrights
Sorry, but I disagree. I have been on the DO NOT CALL list since its inception, and I have so many telemarketing calls, I can no longer answer my phone. I deleted the personal message, turned off the answering machine completely, and turned off all my ringers, and they are still calling !
We were gone on a short vacation and my answering machine recorded 5 hang-up messages. Caller ID shows 5 calsl from this number on 8/21/12: 5:13, 5:39, 6:55, 7:33 & 8:50 p.m. A little excessive, I'd say! I hope they call back because I'm gonna blow an air horn in the phone, maybe then they will get the message...I don't care who they are, I just want them to QUIT calling!!!!!!!!!
I have gotten calls from them for the past week. Finally spoke to a gentleman this morning asking to be put on their do not call list. He interupted me as I was talking and said "We'll put you on the do not call list ma'm." and hung up. 20 minutes later- ANOTHER CALL. i am about to flip out on the next person who decides to try and call me from that number. Just wait. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. i also just reported a complaint against them, and called the 877 number to leave a message with 'debbie'. hopefully that will help.
